No extra charge

Day or night, weekends and holidays. There is no dispatch fee and no after-hours rate. If David can fix it that night, he fixes it that night. If he needs a part, he'll get your system safe, explain what's happening, and come back first thing in the morning.

Heat or AC Out Right Now?

Call (440) 988-2277. Day or night. A real person picks up.

Call Us Right Now If Any of These Apply

For gas smells: get out first, then call your gas company, then call us. Don't touch any switches on the way out.

What Happens When You Call

When you call (440) 988-2277, a real B&B technician answers. Not an answering service, not a national dispatch center. We'll ask what's going on, tell you what we think it might be, and give you an honest arrival time. No 4-hour windows.

We'll quote the repair before we start anything. If it's a straightforward fix, we handle it that visit. If it's something that needs parts we don't have on the truck, we'll tell you what the options are and how long it'll take.

Common Emergency Calls We Handle

Schedule or Emergency, How to Tell

Not every HVAC problem needs a 2am call. Here's a rough guide:

If you're not sure, call. We'd rather talk you through it and decide together than have you find out at midnight in January that it was more urgent than it looked.

Frequently Asked Questions

What counts as a heating emergency?
No heat when it's below freezing outside is the obvious one. But also call us if you smell gas or burning, if your carbon monoxide detector goes off, if the furnace is making a loud bang when it fires, or if you have elderly family members or young kids in the house with no heat. Don't wait on any of those.
Do you charge more for after-hours calls?
No. You pay the same price at midnight as you would at noon. No dispatch fee, no after-hours rate. We're upfront about pricing before we come out.
How fast can you get here?
Depends on where you are and what else is going on that day, but we'll give you a real arrival time when you call, not a 4-hour window. Most Lorain County calls we're there within 2 to 3 hours.
My heat stopped working but the house isn't that cold yet. Should I still call tonight?
If it's going to be below 30 overnight, yes. Houses lose heat faster than people expect, and frozen pipes are a much bigger problem than a service call. Better to get it fixed before it gets cold.
I smell something burning from my furnace. What should I do?
Turn the furnace off at the thermostat. If it smells like burning plastic or electrical, don't turn it back on. If you smell gas, get out of the house and call your gas company first, then us. A light dusty smell at the start of heating season is usually just dust burning off and is normal.
